Export Maildir As PDF

Steps to convert Maildir files as PDF :

  • For exporting Maildir database to PDF, select PDF option from Select Saving option.

  • Software allows you to convert all Maildir items to PDF file. Additionally, you can also convert selective items by selecting the Apply Rules/Filters option.

  • Click on Set Filters button to open the Advance filters window

  • Here you can find various advance filter options to choose from :
    • Date Range: User can select date range to save emails only the selected date range
    • FROM, TO, CC, BCC Fields: Users can choose specific email addresses to save Maildir emails
    • Subject Filters: Users can filter the final saving by saving the emails that contains specfic words and phrases
    • Attachment Filters: Users can use this filter to save only those emails that have/don't have attachments.

  • Next, select the checkbox appearing next to "PDF options" to set PDF saving options. Click on Advance options to open new window showing list of advance PDF options.

  • Set desired option to save Maidir emails and attachments in advance way:
    • Saving PDF
      • Save Separated PDF Files for each Maildir files: Allows to save Maildir files in individual PDF files
      • Save Single PDF for All Maildir Files: Allows to save all Maildir email list in a single PDF document
    • Attachments
      • Embed Attachments in PDF: Enable to embed Maildir attachments within the PDF document as attachment (in original file format)
      • Save Attachments in Separate Folders: Facilitate to save all attachments in a separate PDF folder
      • Convert Attachments to PDF Format: Facilitate to convert all attachments to PDF format
      • Add or Append Attachments in PDF Files: Allows to add or append attachments as pages in PDF document (appears after email message).

  • Next, Navigate to Naming Conventions Option, click the drop-down arrow and apply the desired file naming combination to access and manage resultant file.

  • Next, the destination Path option will show the default path where software will save converted file.

  • Click on Browse button, select the location as per your need and save resultant file.

  • Now, click Export button to start the conversion of Maildir to PDF.

  • The software will now start the Maildir conversion process and show live progress report, displaying the details - Source Path, Item Count, Duration and Status.

  • After completion you will get a Dialog box saying “Export Completed Successfully”. Click on Ok.

  • Once you click the OK button, the software will enable two buttons OK and Save Report. If you want to exit the application, click OK. If you want the complete conversion progress report, hit Save Report button, which will save the detail of processing in CSV file as a record.

  • Navigate to the folder location of your resultant files and click on the .csv file to open and access the conversion report

  • Navigate to the folder location of your resultant files and click on the folder to open and access the resultant files
